What you'll learn...
My goal is that each student will leave one, or both, of these two classes having built upon their existing knowledge and having a greater appreciation for the basics and the manipulation of digital photography. Being able to capture a photograph in documentary style, or create a new compositional design, the digital age allows new avenues of expression.
Looking at the world around us, through the lens of photojournalists and professional photographers, with the intent of capturing the human personality and emotional relationships.

Each photograph is designed with artistic elements and compositional design. Students, having already developed a basis of this knowledge in Photo I will continue to use these during this course and are expected to use them consistently throughout the projects. Additionally, when manipulating or designing a new image, previous understanding of composition is extremely important to carry out seamless combinations.
Images are taken using digital DSLR cameras, and students will be introduced to Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
Each student is also expected to continue their website throughout the course, refining and adjusting its content throughout each assignment.
