What you'll learn...

My goal is that each student will leave this class having built upon their existing knowledge and having a greater appreciation for the manipulation of traditional and digital photography. Being able to capture a photograph, or create a new compositional design, the digital age allows new avenues of expression.

Each photograph is designed with artistic elements and compositional design. Students, having already developed a basis of this knowledge in Photo I will continue to use these during this course and are expected to use them consistently throughout the projects. Additionally, when manipulating or designing a new image, previous understanding of composition is extremely important to carry out seamless combinations.

Images are taken using both 35mm and digital DSLR cameras. Students will continue to use the skills they learned in the darkroom, and their knowledge of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

Each student is also expected to continue their website throughout the course, refining and adjusting its content throughout each assignment.
