a 2-dimensional design portfolio submission
What you'll learn...
AP Photography is a college-level course in which students will actively develop a concentration that will grow and expand throughout the duration of the year. Topics are endless and should challenge the student to further their skill and fulfill a personal desire to investigate a chosen topic.
Portfolio-2D design is a course designed to prepare students for the AP course load (taking during their Junior year). The AP course is taken during their Senior year for possible college credit. A final portfolio is submitted to the College Board at the end of Senior Year for review, consisting of 24 digital images and 5 physical pieces.

*Please note that it is recommended for all Portfolio and AP students to own personal DSLR cameras and have consistent access to Lightroom and Photoshop on their personal computers.
Photographs taken, developed, or created during these courses should be strong in composition, design, and creativity. The artistic elements should show some level of experimentation and personal growth in skill and theory.

AP students will choose a single concentration topic 6 weeks into the beginning of Senior Year - this topic will be their sole focus for the remainder of the course.
